Many people wonder as to how the life of an Indian student in HONG KONG is. Being an International student following were some of my observations:
When we approach local students or people from Mainland China
When we approach local students or people from Mainland China
Most of the people here I found seemed conservative at first glance but in reality they are very amicable. They are just shy to express themselves just because of the Language barriers and they love to keep things slow and steady. Generally Chinese people are very disciplined, sincere and traditional and if you really want to interact with them you need to break down your self made shell and come out of the cobweb around you.
Just don't try to approach girls or boys using any social networking website especially Facebook also it is banned in Mainland. They believe in Personal touch and trust a person who speaks directly to whatever they have in mind rather than hiding around the bush and playing mind games.
They might be the expert in their fields or may be in a top position but still they don't like to boast and exaggerate about their skills or Position. Don;t underestimate them due to their politeness or humble nature.
They don't like to publicize about their achievements or excellence like we post even a small achievement on Facebook.
They are very well organized and love to do things on time. Be it government offices, University officials, Government buses, Public MTR or an individual, everything is right on time and people are civic minded.
They don't believe much in religion rather they believe in Humanity and trust in excellence. I believe that is one of the reason for such a rapid development of China. People believe in hard work as their Prayer and office space as their temple.
